Designed for students in Grade 7 and above, ready to unlock the potential of this versatile platform, this module covers the fundamentals of electronics and physical computing, control and programming with the Arduino Uno.
Participants will lay the foundations for using Arduino Uno, starting with basic controls and progressing to working with various sensors and output devices.
Participants will:
- Understand what is physical computing using Arduino Uno, Arduino programming, it’s basic concepts, structures, and keywords
- Learn how to write code to control output using the Arduino Uno through the IDE
- Learn how to read data from sensors, gather data, and control output to interact with the physical world.
- Output devices: LEDs, buzzer, motor
- Sensors covered: IR sensor, ultrasound sensor
