My Reflections…
Yesterday, we completed just 45 days of the C2L Club since its very first session. To me, it feels like a year already… Last week on 30th May 2020, we had our very first Open Day and Fun Quiz with parents and kids! The huge turnout and enthusiasm from parents and kids was overwhelming. Congratulations to all the teams.
What surprized me was the fantastic involvement of the dads – something that I wasn’t expecting but was delighted to see! I guess that the Science bit attracted them like bees to honey ? It was wonderful to spend the lovely Saturday evening with such a wonderful gathering. Looking forward to many more such days…”
A Big Leap Towards the Future
30th May 2020 will forever be etched in history as a remarkable day in mankind. Though, I doubt that it will be due to the C2L Club Open Day ?
30th May 2020 is the day that NASA launched SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule with two NASA astronauts into orbit from Florida in USA, in a bid to travel to the International Space Station (ISS). The ultimate prize would be the possibility to fly to the Moon and Mars and maybe beyond…
I am revelling in this historic event because it is proof of what human determination and intelligence is capable of. The feat transcends geographical boundaries and should serve as a motivation to everyone around the world that no dream is impossible if you keep at it. Wishing and hoping that India will reach its potential soon enough as well. We, as parents, just need to keep encouraging our children and making them believe that they can.
