Short, intensive programs in which students explore and investigate a single topic through hands-on experiments and building finished projects.

What a workshop builds

A STEMonsters workshop builds working skills: the ability to take up a new technology, understand how it works, and use it to make something. Over 5 to 10 days of live sessions, students acquire skills they can continue to deepen on their own, long after the program ends. Many of these students go further into our year-long after-school program.

What To Expect In A Workshop

Every session follows the same rhythm: ask a question, run the experiment, build the thing. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Small live cohorts

Sessions run live with an expert mentor and a small group, so every student builds, asks, and gets unstuck in real time. No recorded lectures.

A finished build to keep

Each workshop ends with something the student made: a working robot, a trained AI model, a printed part, a launched rocket. The build is the proof of the skill.
